A Two plate print using a Silk Aquatint Collagraph plate with viscosity inking followed by Linocut plate.
The image explores the loss of familiar surroundings with the added sense of sorrow when a much-loved landscape disappears for all of us.
This weekend course is suitable for everyone, from beginners to those who would like the opportunity to learn the less toxic processes we employ in our Etching Room at Ochre Print Studio. Instead of acid we use Ferric Chloride to etch our copper plates and etch Aluminium or Zinc plates...
