Viola Wang
I am thrilled to be joining Ochre Studio as one of the Artists in Residence in January 2026.
As a children’s book illustrator and printmaker, my work centres on themes of sustainability and accessible printmaking. I am currently researching kitchen lithography, utilizing every day sustainable materials to create fine art prints.
I look forward to immersing myself in the studio, exchanging knowledge and ideas, and connecting with the inspiring artists and team during my residency. Thank you for providing me with this wonderful creative home.
Matt O’Rourke
I am delighted to be joining Ochre Print Studio as one of the Artists in Residence for 2026. Having recently finished an MA in Illustration from Camberwell College of Arts, I am excited to continue my printmaking journey and continue my experimentation in a variety of mediums.
My practise is broad ranging, from exploring historic pilgrimage routes and giving voices to the landscape, to collective storytelling and being humorous through playful monoprints. Printmaking is an important part of my practise and something I have only recently begun to explore. I am looking forward to learning much throughout the year.
