Sensory Experimental Drawing – Led by Dr Mona Craven – Sunday 14 June – 10am to 4pm

HOT OFF THE PRESS…..
This one-day workshop with Dr Mona Craven offers the opportunity to learn how to use a range of unusual tools and techniques to enhance your existing drawing skills, whatever your level or prior experience.
Mona will guide you through a series of exercises, and you will discover a broader tool set beyond those used in traditional drawing practice. You will also explore a range of methods to enhance your observation skills. In this workshop, you will build confidence and fluency in mark-making and, for the more experienced, it will be an opportunity to pause and reflect on existing drawing practice. The skills learned can be applied to both two and three-dimensional work alike.
Ideal as a refresher or a starting point, this workshop is for everyone who would love to draw, as well as beginner and experienced artists alike.
Please note that this workshop will run alongside (but separate to) the studio’s SAOS (Surrey Artists Open Studios) open day, when visitors to Lockwood will be offered an opportunity to look around the studio and print a linocut print to take home. The price of this workshop reflects the other activity in the studio.Â
Date: Sunday 14 June
Time: 10am to 4pm
Cost: £65 / Members £60
