This one day workshop is suitable for all.  Beginners are welcome and will learn the principles of Linocut, whilst those with some experience can broaden their skills, build on their existing knowledge and develop new ideas and ways of working.  Everyone will experiment with a variety of techniques using colour and printing in different ways to achieve exciting and delightful results.  The emphasis is on enjoying the process and learning about positive and negative space, shape and pattern which will lead to a deeper understanding of this relief printing process.

This is a fun and playful workshop that encourages everyone to work in their own unique way. Jo will gently and expertly guide each participant to create and print a linocut in layers for difference in tonal value and colourways.

The outcomes are always fresh and original.  The possibilities are endless!

Materials are provided.  Just bring a little imagination and an open mind.

Date: Sunday 12 October
