Gelli Plate Printing with Matt O’Rourke – Saturday 11 July – 10am to 4pm

Gelli plates have a soft surface that can be worked on to produce one-off prints, also called monotypes, where the image is applied directly to the plate, yielding a single, original print.
This playful medium offers an opportunity to build printed images using impressions and textures from found materials and the use of stencils to mask areas of the plate, producing complex prints without the use of a press.
During the course of the day, Matt will demonstrate the various techniques and suggest how they can be combined to build interesting effects and unique prints.
Date: Saturday 11 July
Times: 10am to 4pm
Cost: £95 / Members £90
