This screenprinting technique produces painterly images that cannot be replicated in any other way and the results are often interesting and can be rather exciting. The image is painted directly onto a silkscreen and, because you cannot completely control the ink or how the screen prints the image, there’s always an element of surprise!

This technique can be used to print on the kitchen table at home as well, using an easily constructed ‘jig’ to hold the screen and, if you ask, we can provide you with instructions on how to make one.

This fun Saturday afternoon workshop is suitable for everyone, beginners and refreshers alike.
