Our first course of 2021 and we are delighted to welcome back visiting artist/tutor Charles Shearer who will demonstrate how he creates his expressive monoprints using stencils and Caligo Safe Wash inks.
This method of printmaking can be both playful and liberating and is particularly suitable for those who enjoy drawing. Come with an open mind and the expectation of experimentation while exploring the potential of Charles’ techniques.
As the weekend continues, Charles will demonstrate his ‘take’ on bringing the textures of parcel packaging into print to create unique and quirky monoprints. The studio will provide a good supply of different forms of packaging but you can bring your own too and you will be amazed by the results that can be achieved!
This weekend workshop is suitable for everyone, especially those wishing to develop their creative ideas.
