Creative Multi-Block Lino Printmaking A Masterclass with Dale Devereux Barker RE – Weekend 7/8 November
November 7 @ 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM GMT£190
Dale Devereux Barker has been making linocuts for over thirty-five years, mostly using a single block reduction technique. However, over the past four years he has rekindled his love of this activity by investigating the world of using two or more blocks to open up more possibilities for creative discoveries.
This weekend course is about experimenting with the exciting, sometimes scary world of multi-block linocutting and would suit those people who want to add a new dimension to their relief printing and open up their creativity by ‘taking risks, learning new skills and making stunning prints’!
A member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, Dale has been teaching printmaking for some thirty years now and is currently head of printmaking at the University of Suffolk.
We are always happy when Dale finds time to come down from Suffolk to teach in the studio, knowing it will be a busy, fun filled weekend for all of us and LOTS of lovely prints will be taken home afterwards.
