An Introduction to Screenprint with Jule Mallett – A six week evening course

This six week introduction to screenprinting will teach you all the basic processes and techniques you need to create and build images using auto-graphic/hand drawn marks and stencils.

You will be shown how to prepare your images, coat a silkscreen with photographic emulsion, use the dark room to expose your images on the screen and set up to screenprint on paper. Jule will show you how to incorporate layers of colour using stencils and you will be guided through designing a set of screenprints to take home at the end of the course.

This evening course is suitable for beginners and those with previous experience who wish to refresh their skills. All basic materials are included in the course price.
