An Introduction to Drypoint Etching with Mai Osawa – Weekend 15/16 August
August 15 @ 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM BST£155
A beautiful intaglio printmaking technique without the use of any nasty chemicals!
Drypoint etching lends itself to expressive drawings and mark-making. With the use of clear acrylic plates your designs and artwork are easily transferred to the plate and, when inked and wiped carefully, will produce unique velvety original prints.
This versatile method of printmaking is a good introduction to traditional printmaking and Mai’s weekend course will give you a comprehensive understanding of the potential of this technique.
Suitable for beginners and refreshers alike, all materials are included in the workshop price.
Places are limited to 4 to allow for social distancing. You will be asked to wear a mask and bring your own refreshments.
