Alternative Lithography on Lino with Scarlett Rebecca – Weekend 22/23 November – 10am to 4pm

Lithography is the perfect process for artists who want to combine drawing with printmaking. Lino lithography is an accessible and low-toxic lithographic process that doesn’t require specialist equipment, so you can reproduce the process at home.
Using lino as our print surface means we’re also able to include all the fantastic qualities of relief print.
Over the weekend we will be utilizing lino as our matrix, using it as a surface from which we will reproduce drawn marks using a myriad of drawing materials, including transfer papers. We will also be combining carved elements using lino in the traditional relief way and layering colours using the lino as a surface for monotype.
