Our two new AIRs, Jenny Nicholas and Tom Wynn Owen are busy getting to grips with the studio routine and where everything is kept and both are getting to know our keyholder members and those who regularly attend the Open Access sessions on a Tuesday. They will soon share their news on this blog and be working as fully fledged studio technicians from mid-February. Both have attended courses for training and the walls in the studio are already filling up with their new prints. We will look forward to seeing more of their work up there and watching it develop over the coming year!

Meanwhile Vicky Oldfield and David Crosby (2019 AIRs) are supporting Jenny and Tom and giving them training in the ways of Ochre Print Studio. Our 2019 AIRs won’t be leaving us though! Both Vicky and David are teaching at Ochre in 2020; Vicky collagraph courses and David Linocut.  Their first courses sold like hot cakes but keep an eye out for the next ones.

David has also joined the studio management team as finance manager, taking over from Emma Tabor who is stepping back after some seven years or more of overseeing the growth of Ochre Print Studio and nurturing it into the successful fine art open access studio it is today. We will miss her greatly but she has plans to concentrate on her own work as artist Emma C Tabor and we wish her well.
