BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Fees can only be paid in advance by cash if payment is made in person.  We do not accept payment on the day, with the exception of payments made by Ochre Print Studio Members and this is only by prior agreement.

Booking Courses at Ochre Print Studio

Fees for courses, course refunds and cancellations

1. BOOKINGS

1.1 To secure a place on one of our courses you may book through the website and pay the full amount of the Course Fee via PayPal. In exceptional circumstances you may arrange payment either by cheque or bank transfer.  Your place on the Course is not confirmed until full payment has been received. The Course Fee must be received before the commencement of the Course.

1.2 The Course fee will include the cost of all basic materials.  Additional materials (ie gloves, additional paper and/or plates etc) are available to purchase in the studio.

2. CANCELLATIONS BY YOU

2.1 If cancellation occurs with three weeks or more notice, we will provide you with a full refund.

2.2 If cancellation occurs with more than two weeks but less than three weeks notice – we will transfer you to a Course of the same value or provide you with a 50% refund, the remaining 50% being forfeited. The exception to this would be if the place on the course is taken by someone on a reserve list.

2.3 If cancellation occurs less than two weeks prior to the commencement of the Course we will not give a refund or provide a transfer and the full fee paid is forfeited.  The exception to this would be if the place on the course is taken by someone on a reserve list.

2.4 Courses bought as gifts are subject to the same cancellation policy.

2.5 Friends and family may attend in your place for any Course providing we have been given 24-hours notice before the Course commences. You will need to provide us with the names and contact details of anyone attending in your place.

Booking Open Access Sessions at Ochre Print Studio

Open Access Session Fees may be cancelled at any time up to 24 hours prior to the session.  Cancellations any later than this are subject to a £5 fee and non-attendance without a cancellation is subject to the full Open Access fee of £16.

Courses – Cancellations by Us

All our Courses have a minimum attendance level and may be cancelled if too few bookings are received.  We reserve the right to cancel a course at any time subject to the students already booked on the course receiving by their own choice either a full refund, transfer to a similar course of the same value or a gift voucher to the same value.

Open Access – Cancellations by Us

We reserve the right to cancel Open Access Sessions in exceptional circumstances.  We will at all times endeavour to contact and give adequate warning to those who have booked a session.

3. MEMBERSHIP

In consideration for permitting me to become a member of Ochre Print Studio, the undersigned hereby waives and indemnify its owners, directors, managers, contractors and volunteers from any and all claims of personal injury, damages or losses of any kind that may arise from use of the facilities based at Lockwood Centre.
