Course | Talk Navigation
A beautiful intaglio printmaking technique without the use of acids. Drypoint etching lends itself to expressive drawings and fluid mark making. With the use of clear acrylic plates your designs and artwork are easily transferred to the plate and when inked and wiped carefully produce beautiful and unique velvety original prints.
Mai Osawa is one of our current Artists in Residence and a master at inking drypoint plates. This versatile method of printmaking is a good introduction to traditional printmaking and using an etching press.
All materials are included in the workshop price.
