Artist in residence

Length of residency - Approximately 1 year (negotiable on application)

The artist would receive studio time, support and encouragement for developing their ideas in printmaking, exhibiting and promoting their work.

Unfortunately there are no funds available and limited materials.

Artists will receive promotion, exhibitions, and press attention from any Ochre events.

Artist will be able to attend/observe/take part in the varied courses and artists talks free of charge (materials not included and subject to available space)

Artists will gain experience of working in/running a print studio and coordinating exhibitions.

Duties will include:

• Assisting on occasional workshops and courses on and off site.
• A major role in the SAOS event
• At least one presentation of work to fellow members with the possible addition of other presentations outside of Ochre for promotion.

Applicants should have some experience working in a print room.

Our next available residency will not be until 2012.
